Copy footage to your drive the way you always do. EyeScope notices the new clips and asks once. Say yes, and every card you dump there from then on is indexed on its own.
Your files stay where you put them. Nothing is moved, renamed or uploaded.

EyeScope asks whether to import them, with an estimated time of 12 minutes, and the user turns on automatic import for the Festival 2026 folder. When the copy finishes, a notification says the 120 clips are imported and ready to search.

Connect EyeScope to Claude, Codex or Cursor over MCP. Your agent asks for moments by what’s in the shot, who’s in it or what was said, and builds the cut from the answers.
It reads EyeScope’s index, not the video. So it spends tokens on the edit instead of on watching.
